I’m pretty sure he wants her to watch because she was interested in seeing him cast earlier - since he mentioned to her that his spells had runes to make them uninteresting!

Mochi has it! Xira mentioned that most of his spells are magically "uninteresting" and that you could be looking right at him and still miss the casting. Tareth wanted to see, so they had a chance to try it with this mind-reading spell!

I don't quite understand what's meant to be happening in the last two panels? Is that thought bubble hers or Zira's?
Also is he performing a trick for her or is he casting the mind-reading spell he mentioned to Sev, and if yes, why is she supposed to be looking at him?
