Totally! Even if she's pretty dang sure her box is aberrant-proof (and I'm willing to bet that's very much a "Maybe??!?") it's super uncool of Xira to shove Æmber into a mass of tentacles with no warning! (And Sev doesn't seem particularly keen on this either.)

Tbh, I'd be good if he goes the blackmail route. Jonan just seems the type that, even if he keeps Xira's secret for whatever reason, would be kinda frustrated no one else had figured it out when Xira's not reeeally being all that subtle.

Impulsive teen + secret you can't reveal to people you just freaking met is like the perfect disaster recipe, though. Like, of course this is going to go poorly, but it's still painful to watch.
On the other, less sympathetic hand; Jonan, when are you going to write "He's a witch" in all-caps on a piece of paper and hold it over Xira's head? I know you kinda want to. (Maybe just go over your finger-spelling notes and do that instead, if you wanna be subtle about it?)
