UNRELATED: THIS WEEK IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! :D I'm gonna be 30 years old this Thursday??? That will make me older than everyone in the main cast of this comic!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN.

According to the cast page, Jonan's 29. I think it came up in a vote incentive that his life has been busy and stressful enough that he looks rather older than he is.
I think part of it's the beard and also that he's a gaunt skeleton man who looks like he doesn't eat. I can see his normal day as waking up, having some toast and a cup of water, and then getting lost in his work for the next 16 hours solid.

Who exactly is a "main character" is tough to pin down, but I just meant the whole group right now. xD
Jonan's ageing is a lot more than stress! When I was designing him, it was my intention for him to read as 40-50. He REALLY doesn't look his age.

So does that mean that Jonan is in his twenties? I guess not. He looks much older than the rest of the cast. I think of him as a main character now, but I guess he started out as a secondary character.
That's so weird. I just realized I have a cousin who's turning 30 on Thursday too. I wonder how many people on Earth were born on December 15, 1986.
