okay while GLEW DOES HAVE A POINT -- if it helps at all, they weren't running from the city or any authorities in the city, they were getting away from the aberrant hunters.

Yeah, there are probably a lot of travellers who make camps like this. Possibly another quirky band of Runewriters who are on a journey to fix their own miscasts.
