He knows he's a telepath/witch. He's the type of guy that would know all about these things and look out for them. The turban does not fool him and/or he knew what was going on but couldn't bring it up until now.

I'm guessing it's more "Can we get an explanation as to why this guy is so eager to hang out with Despicable Me,Necropony, Squid-hands, and Box-girl?? There has to be SOME reason!"

Is Jonan pointing at Xira because he realized something about him? Was there something to make him think Xira may be telepathic or there's something 'horribly wrong' with him that he seems to be pointing at him and in the second to last panel and looks like he suddenly realized something?
Maybe I should just go over the pages with Jonan and Xira again to see if there's something he could've realized just now, but I feel like Xira always behaved pretty normally around Jonan (except for bluffing the guards, hehe!)
