I don't know why this doesn't happen in every fantasy woods because I can't walk through my freakin yard without running into five different spiders

Ahhh! Chapter Four begins!! If you vote on TWC you'll get what is basically me going through my comic to remember exactly how much time has passed.

(on a completely unrelated note, if you don't follow me on social media then you missed, um, some nonsense, which I am now sharing with you all for, some reason,)

Vote Incentive for This Comic.

Aw, Sev, give Xira a break...he's trying to make up for the fact that he may or may not have sinister intentions.

Hot DOG, look at that idyllic forest...with nasty spiderwebs.

Also, holy CRAP, six days in five years! These are some awesome six days!

And Jonan is rocking that Once-ler outfit. #class

The thing I'm most curious about is whether Xira would consider his intentions sinister, or whether he thinks he's just being subtle about something he can't/shouldn't mention yet.

Well, hardly anyone ever thinks of themselves as evil. Not that I'm saying Xira is evil, but in their own mind everyone is generally "doing the right thing" or "doing what's best in the long run", you know?

Some people do things they know are bad... perhaps more relevantly, some people do things they know are not in the best interests of the people around them even if they think they're overall justified. I don't know *what* Xira's up to, but apparently 1. this wasn't supposed to be it and 2. he thinks it might be relevant anyway.

I'm pretty sure Jonan actively works on exuding evil. Keeps people away. And yes, I'm sure he sees sealing people's mouths shut as being 'what's best in the long run', but for him, not them.

I once heard this said and it seems to fit "Every man/women is the hero of there own story".
