Yeah lemme know how your sneaking goes, Most Conspicuous Tall Person In The Church.

Okay first off, someone's been adding a bunch of Runewriters examples on TV Tropes and I've been having a blast checking them all, but I think this one on Beard of Evil is my favourite:

Secondly, OMG YOU GUYS ARE SUCH COOL VOTERS, I can't believe we almost made it to the top 100 last week???? THANK YOU!! There's a new vote incentive this week, with a little bit of concept art and a little bit of everyone's favourite character if you click the blue box and vote! :D

Oooh!? What a delightfully ambiguous last panel. I'm guessing he's not here to help out. Also, it seems unlikely that he'd expect the healer to be able to fix him up too.

So... my money would be on him just wanting to peer closer at the runes burnt onto Sev's arms and/or the whole tentacle hands thing. 'Cos, you know, that's all kinda weird and he probably wants to make sure his primary means of defence isn't gonna suddenly go all Facestealer on him.

Tentacles, definitely wants to look at the tentacles.

We learned at some point in the past that runewriters cannot use each others' runes and in general don't even bother trying to learn from or teach each other. Sev's runes are probably just gibberish to Jonan, and boring gibberish at that.

The tentacles, tho, that is interesting. Jonan is the 'victim' of a miscast himself and has probably been thinking worried thoughts for quite a while about the ways a miscast can cause further problems.

Nah, jokes aside, I'm pretty sure Jonana is just there to try to help or something out of pride if nothing else.

Am I seriously this naive?...
