Googling it turned up a wikipedia page which may or may not be useful: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otakon
But basically, Otakon is an anime convention in Baltimore! There are a LOT of anime cons, comic cons, and indie cons that artists like me visit all over the country, but Otakon is one of the biggest and most well-known anime conventions in the U.S.

There's a gazillion different things to do, but I mainly just go as an artist in Artist Alley, which means I buy a table to sell my stuff there! This year I had posters, collections for my journal comic, and Chapters 1 and 2 of Runewriters in book form!

I just remembered a question that I had on an earlier page and then forgot as soon as I opened the comments...
Is Sev illiterate? I may have missed something that would make it obvious he isn't, but I just thought about "Missing the Point" where he apparently didn't get the Loa in Loa's Forest no matter how much Jonan pointed. On top of that, Tareth always reads his messages out loud. I can understand why poor Sev might be unable to read, since he lives in a hole with nothing but a loincloth, you know...? Sort of like a caveman. Not to mention how he carves strange and incomprehensible symbols into things.

Aw, I always do that! c: A lot of times I don't like to tell people if their theories are right or wrong, even if they're not about important things! I actually wrote a small post about why I don't, but mostly it's just that I want to let you guys get to know the characters through the story rather than barging in and explaining everything. ;u; That kinda defeats the purpose of telling it as a story! Besides, it's way cooler to see what you guys think!
(This is the same reason I stubbornly don't refer to characters by name until their name has been revealed in the comic, haha)

What? It's still Monday, and I'm colouring today's page right now!
In truth it will likely go up very late tonight, but in general I don't consider RW late until it's no longer Monday. Runewriters is a comic where I unfortunately can't guarantee it'll update right at midnight as things stand!
If you want a better idea of EXACTLY when the page goes up, you can follow me on twitter, because I'll usually give a heads-up when the page is more likely to go up in the evening over there. :")
