In which someone is in trouble.

OH MAN CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS IS UP ON TIME? AFTER A CONVENTION? I barely can! I gotta thank all the people who came out to see me at HeroesCon (and the people who bought one of the first copies of Chapter One!), Rynnay for being a wonderful tablemate, and Jordan for sharing her hotel room with me! The whole thing was a blast and I hope I can go back next year!

And as always, you can vote for Runewriters for a behind-the-scenes of the page in progress!

Yup! It's a big help. She's credited with a couple other people at the bottom of the website. :3

Ashrbjblsdf. -.- Man, I wish I could go to conventions in your far off America-land. How about you come to UK conventions instead? I imagine the rich and glamorous life of a webomicer naturally offers you all the funds to make this so.

...Or at the very least I'd buy enough fat animal book to recoup your losses. :P

And in response to your alt text, panel 5 looks wonderulous in the creepiest way, all of the props dood.

Oh man, I'd love to go to UK convention! A few years ago I had the UK Web and Mini Comix Thing on my list of "places I swear I will go to someday when I am rich."

But considering I'm just now getting to the point where I can SOMETIMES make a profit at an American convention, I don't think UK cons are an option presently. ALAS! SOMEDAY!

(and thanks!)

Oh, Sev... You dear, sweet fool. I love that last panel. "Oh shoot." That sums up things pretty well! And that's a really awesome way to reveal Jonan. The cut on the arm looks quite painful though!

I'm sorry I missed out on Heroescon this year, I so would have bought a copy of chapter 1!

I'm almost expecting Jonan to pick up some vines and wave them while shouting, "GET OFF MY LAWN."

I guess that would make a library pretty boring.

So he can write (and presumably read at least *some*) runes, but he can't read the written standard language? Interesting...

I took it to mean that he can read fine, but just asked her what the sign said because that was faster.

Shazzbaa - I don't know if you saw my note on DA, so I'm gonna post this here too~ http://meggyc.deviantart.com/#/d54zlwy

Cause I just had to draw Jonan after seeing this page. :D

UM THIS IS WONDERFUL. Your style looks so woodcuttish here and it is FASCINATING. *o*

And it basically sums up their entire interaction, yes. xD (Also I'm going to be a complete dork and enjoy the fact that Jonan's overbite is preserved here.)

I used the Brush tool and the Dissolve tool in Photoshop, which, in theory sounds like an unholy union of awfulness, but it actually helped make for some fun textures and mood. And his overbite was fun to draw!

He's illiterate?? Well, it evens out, then! One to hear and one to read!
