Hey guys! As those of you who read TNH know, the last page was, um, unexpectedly epic! @u@ And took up most of my Runewritering time. But I have been working on a cover for printed copies of Chapter 1 (which I am hoping to have at conventions this summer!) so I thought I would let you have a peak at it! Right now I am just fiddling with sticking colours on it.
Secondly, OMG WELCOME to everyone who came to visit from io9! I'm super super grateful to Lauren Davis for such a kind review, and I hope those of you who stopped in got a kick out of the comic so far!
The update schedule around here is once a week, AT SOME POINT on Monday (not necessarily midnight) but now that I'm not doing two webcomics, those updates should be way more on the dot. :3
P.S., while I'm at it, I'm planning to be at some conventions this year! If you're gonna be at HEROES CON, OTAKON, or SAN DIEGO COMIC CON, you should stop by and say hi!

You could call it that! It's from my DeviantArt gallery. I drew Runewriters doodles ALL THE TIME for a few years before I started the comic, and that was one that I finished to see if inking with a ballpoint pen would work out. :3

ah, transition time, now to find out a way to let my chrome open 20 tabs at once, all comics.... maybe time to sort it out by updates... ow well :P
great story so far, sad to see TNH go yet out of something old something new will grow.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm there for the whole weekend. I might show up a little late or leave a little early depending on AIRPLANE SHENANIGANS, but since I'm helping Kel man her/our table there (let's be honest, she is the main attraction, she is just graciously sharing with me!), I'll wanna be there as much as possible!

Nice covers! I vote warm shading, it helps the foreground interact with the background, but maybe the weird shading helps the foreground pop more? The grunge look is cool.
