I love how expressive your characters are. I've been curious about that. Did you pick most of that up in college? Is it just natural talent? People watching? Expression are just not my strong point. :(

Wow, thank you! Hmmmm, I guess it's kind of... a combination of lots of things. :"O I've drawn expressively since I was teeny-tiny, but obviously everything else -- studying and working to improve, looking at my own face, studying how other artists capture expressions and incorporating that into my own work, etc. is the reason why it's not just the same faces I was drawing when I was two. XD

I can't recall any one book or class or online tutorial that really made expressiveness click. It's just something where I'm constantly trying to learn from others and expand my own range. I feel like NAILING a character's expression and body language is one of the best ways to really communicate in art, so I pay lots of attention to people who are good at it. :3

Might you be willing to provide a few examples of people you believe to be good at expressions? (Other than yourself of course. ;P) I'm trying to get the hang of drawing human-shaped things still, and I often get the feeling that I can only effectively draw a few expressions. Plus, well, more art to look at would be a wonderful thing~ :D
